Jay Woofter
Instructional Designer
PHILOSOPHY & PLEDGE
The primary responsibility of an instructional designer is to facilitate learning. The designer must create instruction that meets the needs of the organization, the expectations of the subject matter expert, and the understanding of the student. The designer and the instructor must create instruction and atmosphere that are conducive to learning. This should be accomplished by maintaining a positive attitude, having respect for self and others, organization, professionalism, a hard work ethic, and high expectations.
It is paramount that instructional designers keep abreast of all current developments and new technologies within the ELearning space to provide efficient, relevant, and thorough courses. I believe that building relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts, and students will foster an excellent learning environment.
I will pursue all available measures to ensure every learner is successful.
I will not settle for less.
